About the High Rollers Band

The High Rollers Band - Biography

The High Rollers Band began in September of 1996 as a pickup band for an engagement at the Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville, WA. We ended up playing there every month for the next ten years. In 2008 we started playing at Dawson’s in Tacoma, WA. We currently play there once every other month to allow us to playspecial events, summer festivals and weddings. We have performed for some of the Northwest’s most recognized festivals, concert halls, and corporations. The main reason for hiring the High Rollers is our professionalism, flexibility and reliability.

At the core of the band is the Fincher brothers. There is Don on the bass, Ron on the drums and Melvin on the saxes. With us are two lifelong friends, Carlos Henderson on guitar and Bobby Cedeno on lead vocal and percussion. We have recently added Kregg Matson on keyboard, Tommy Sandovallegos on percussion, and Karl Ronning on trumpet. Based on your needs we can also offer a band with as many as 12 musicians which may include a female vocalist, up to 4 horns, and a sound man.

As a horn and percussion band, we bring the very best of the chart topping hits of the seventies, eighties and nineties to life. We are all about getting your guests up on the dance floor and keeping them moving! Featuring tight vocals, authentic horns, and a full rhythm section allows us to play anything from Chicago to Earth, Wind and Fire to Stevie Ray Vaughn and Santana. Our energy and enthusiasm will transform your special occasion into an unforgettable experience!

Give us a call as soon as you can as the dates fill up quickly.
